John Trull is a partner who qualified as a solicitor in 1980. He has worked for Hattens for over twenty five years and has been a partner for some twenty years. He has a wide knowledge of the local area and specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing. He also deals with commercial contracts and company work including acquisitions. He has a wide probate practice and is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, dealing with the preparation and completion of wills and other matters relating to Estate Planning and Inheritance Tax. He has particular interest in elderly client care and is a full professional member of Solicitors For The Elderly. John is an OCN accredited mediator
Robert Daniels was admitted as a Solicitor in December 1978. After working in London for several years he joined the firm in December 1985 and became a partner in 1988. He has extensive experience and expertise in the fields of residential and commercial conveyancing including sales and purchase of businesses. He also carries out some general non-contentious work together with the preparation of wills and probate work.
Samantha Lynch is a Solicitor and one of the partners in the Family Department. She is also a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). Samantha has been practising in the field of family law for a number of years and has a broad knowledge of all areas of the specialism. . She worked at a London practice for a number of years before coming to the firm and has a wide knowledge of family work from resolving disputes relating to children to resolving financial issues between co-habitees.
She has wide experience in relation to the financial matters stemming from divorce. Samantha undertakes works relating to all areas of family breakdown both for married couples and for co-habitees.
Kellyann Dilliway is a Solicitor within the Family Department. Kellyann has been practicing in the field of family law since 2005 and has a broad knowledge of all areas of the specialism. She has a particular interest in matters concerning children and Domestic Violence.
Vanda Mercer is a Legal Assistant with over 25 years’ experience in Family cases and is widely known in Thurrock for her friendly and practical approach to resolving family disputes. Vanda acts for Client’s in divorce, Child Arrangement Orders and financial disputes. Vanda was a former Chair of Thurrock Womens’ Aid and regularly deals with Non-Molestation and Occupation Order applications.
Kelly Dulieu is our Practice & Finance Manager with responsibility for the efficient and effective administration of the practice. Kelly joined the firm in November 2015 and is a member of the ILFM (The Institute of Legal Finance & Management) She has worked with the financial sector for over 15 years. Kelly has undertaken training to become the COFA (Compliance Officer for Finance & Administration.)
Leonie Adams, Fellow of Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Head of Wills and Probate Department
Having started working for a firm of solicitors initially as a legal secretary in 2000, Leonie took the next step to increase the power of the firm and undertook a Legal Executives course in 2002 with CILEX building up a client base alongside it. Becoming a Fellow and qualifying in 2007 Leonie continues to work in residential conveyancing as well as wills, probate and the private client sector.
Joining Hatten’s in 2017 Leonie has quickly established her position in gaining the trust and confidence of old and new clients of the firm working as a team with her qualified paralegal Hayley.
Emily joined Hatten’s in July 2005 as a Legal Secretary working in the Matrimonial Department. She has been working in the Conveyancing department since February 2007. Emily has gained previous experience at a neighbouring firm where she worked as a Legal Secretary in the Matrimonial department.
Emily has undertaken the CLT Specialist Paralegal Qualification in Residential Conveyancing. She works closely with John Trull in the Conveyancing Department and assists other Partners and fee earners in the Wills and Probate department.
Hayley Antoine joined Hatten’s in October 2011 as a Legal Secretary working in the Wills and Probate Department.
Since joining Hatten’s she has had the opportunity to undertake a CLT Level 6 Paralegal Qualification and successfully passed the course in January 2017. Hayley works alongside Leonie Adams, the Head of the Probate Department and also assists the Partners and other Fee Earners. She also has knowledge of Conveyancing and Matrimonial matters.
Before joining Hatten’s, Hayley gained her experience at a neighbouring firm working in a legal secretarial position in the Criminal and Family Departments.
Claire Crooks is a Paralegal within the Family Department. Claire joined the firm in March 2007 as a Family Legal Secretary and completed the Family Resolution Law Assistant Certificate Scheme in February 2011. She then went on to study Family Law further and qualified as a Paralegal in association with the University of West of England in August 2015.
Claire assists Samantha Lynch in all aspects of work within the Family Department. She is also in charge of the Legal Aid applications and administration and liaises with client’s and other professionals as necessary.
Tatenda is a Qualified Solicitor specialising in contentious civil and commercial litigation matters.
He graduated from University College London before completing his LPC at Westminster University. Tatenda draws experience from having worked in different areas of law which has helped him adapt to client’s different needs. He regularly assists in business development for clients including contract drafting and regulatory matters. His experience also extends to property disputes including commercial landlord and tenant disputes.
